The differential bushings secure the differential to the subframe. Over time, the rubber material naturally oxidizes, stretches, and deteriorates due to driving conditions and environmental exposure. As the bushings wear, the differential is allowed to shift, which can lead to clunking during acceleration, vibrations throughout the vehicle, and premature wear of the driveshaft and differential bearings.
Our Differential Bushing Kit provides all three rear differential bushings along with new mounting hardware, delivering a complete solution that restores your Cayenne’s performance, reliability, and safety.

Diagram Ref No 34
The gearbox rubber mount forms a critical part of the drivetrain mounting system, securing the transmission in its correct position while absorbing vibration and allowing controlled movement during acceleration, braking, and gear changes. The resilient rubber construction minimises the transmission of noise, vibration, and harshness (NVH) into the vehicle cabin, helping maintain smooth driving characteristics and protecting surrounding drivetrain components from excessive stress. Manufactured to OE-style dimensions, it provides an accurate fit for straightforward installation.
What This Product Does:
- Supports and secures the gearbox in its correct position.
- Absorbs engine and transmission vibration.
- Reduces noise, vibration, and harshness (NVH).
- Maintains correct drivetrain alignment.
- Allows controlled drivetrain movement under load.
- Protects surrounding components from excessive stress.

- Clunking or knocking during gear changes.
- Gearbox movement under acceleration or braking.
- Visible cracking, splitting, or deterioration of the rubber.
- Oil contamination causing rubber degradation.
- Sagging or collapsed gearbox mount.
- Misalignment of the transmission assembly.
Why Replacement Matters:
- The gearbox rubber mount plays a vital role in supporting the transmission while isolating vibration and maintaining correct drivetrain alignment. A worn or collapsed mount can increase cabin vibration, create drivetrain noise, allow excessive gearbox movement, and place additional strain on engine mounts, driveshafts, exhaust components, and gear linkage. If left unrepaired, these issues can accelerate wear throughout the drivetrain and compromise driving comfort.
- Replacing a worn or damaged mount with this OE Match Gearbox Rubber Mount restores proper drivetrain support, reduces unwanted vibration, maintains correct transmission alignment, and improves overall vehicle refinement. Manufactured as a direct replacement and produced to OE-style specifications, this OE Match Gearbox Rubber Mount provides reliable fit, durability, and long-term performance for Porsche maintenance, repairs, and restoration projects.

- Provides an OE Match performance-oriented replacement solution.
Symptoms Of Wear Or Failure:
- Excessive drivetrain movement.
- Clunking or knocking during acceleration or deceleration.
- Movement or jolting when changing gear.
- Gear lever movement as engine load changes.
- Increased drivetrain movement when engaging the clutch.
- Unusual vibration from the transmission area.
- Gear selection feeling less precise or consistent.
- Thumping noises when applying or releasing the throttle.
- Cracked, split or deteriorated original rubber mounts.
- Mount material separating from its associated hardware.
- Visible deformation or sagging.
- Excessive gearbox movement discovered during inspection.
- Damage following heavy road, track or competition use.
Why Replacement Matters:
- Gearbox mounts must keep the transmission securely located while controlling the forces generated by the drivetrain. When conventional mounts deteriorate, excessive gearbox movement can develop.
- This unwanted movement may be felt as clunks, jolts or changes in gear lever position during acceleration, braking and gear changes. It can also place additional movement and stress on associated components such as gear linkages, hoses, wiring and drivetrain connections.
- For performance driving, excessive transmission movement can reduce the precision of the connection between the driver and drivetrain. A gearbox that moves significantly under load may contribute to less consistent shifting and a less controlled response when transitioning on and off the throttle.
- The semi-solid design of this mount set reduces compliance, helping hold the gearbox more securely relative to the chassis. This can improve drivetrain response and provide a firmer, more direct feel.
- However, increased rigidity also means less isolation between the drivetrain and vehicle body. As a result, more mechanical noise and vibration may be transmitted into the cabin compared with standard rubber mounts. This characteristic should be considered when choosing semi-solid mounts for a road vehicle.
