OE Match engine air filter manufactured as a direct replacement for the factory intake filter on Porsche 911 (991) models with the standard air intake system. Prevents costly airbox explosions, installed with the engine and air box in place. 911 engines since 1973 have had the bad habit of backfiring and blowing a hole an the air box. 911 POP VALVE is installed inside the air box and when a backfire occurs the valve will instantly open and release the backfire pressure. The POP VALVE then automatically closes and the angine continues to run. The POP VALVE has no effect on the performance or fuel mileage.
