Suspension strut mounting, FRONT.
Front suspension strut mount / bearing support for early Porsche 924, 924S and 944 models. This component mounts between the shock absorber and chassis body structure at the top of the front strut and provides pivotal support and smooth rotation of the strut assembly, while also cushioning vibration and absorbing load forces.
Sold each, 2 required per vehicle.

Manufactured to OE standards, it replicates the factory arrangement of rubber bonded bearing with correct internal race, outer shell and mounting surfaces. It restores proper strut behaviour, correct top mount geometry, quiet ride, and ensures long-term durability under road loads.

The strut mount bearing is a critical link in the front suspension system - it supports the shock absorber, handles steering loads, and ensures smooth motion of the strut top during articulation. If the mount is worn or the bearing seized, you may experience:
• Excessive play or noise from the front suspension top area
• Steering vibration or oscillation during turning
• Misalignment of the strut assembly leading to uneven tyre wear

When and why to replace:
