Front lower control arm (also referred to as "track bar" or “front lower link”) designed to replace the original factory arm on a variety of modern Porsche models including 991-series 911, 981/718 Boxster and Cayman. The control arm is supplied as a single unit, ready for direct installation using the original mounting hardware (or new bolts, if required). To ensure balanced suspension performance, we recommend replacing both the left and right control arms at the same time.
Sold each, 2 required per vehicle.

• Position: Front axle — lower control arm / track bar (left or right side).
• Role in Suspension: Controls wheel alignment (camber, toe), locates the front wheel assembly under dynamic loads, absorbs road forces, and helps maintain stable handling during braking, acceleration and cornering.
• The front control arm maintains precise positioning of the wheel relative to the chassis, ensuring correct suspension geometry under load. Its bushings isolate road vibrations while allowing controlled suspension movement, preserving both ride comfort and steering accuracy. As a direct-fit replacement, it restores proper front suspension behaviour without the need for modifications.
With age and mileage, the bushings and ball-joint in the control arm gradually wear due to road stress, heat, and repeated load cycles. This can lead to vague steering, poor straight-line stability, uneven tyre wear, knocking noises, or difficulty holding correct alignment. Replacing the arm ensures tight, predictable suspension response and safer, more controlled driving dynamics - especially important for high-performance vehicles or those driven hard.
When to replace:
• Noticeable knocking or clunking from front suspension over bumps or braking
• Loose or vague steering feel, especially at speed
• Uneven or premature tyre wear on front tyres
• Difficulty achieving or maintaining correct wheel alignment (camber/toe)
• Excessive play discovered in control arm joint on inspection
• Completing other suspension work (bushings, shocks, struts) - good practice to renew suspension links together

OEMatch Track Control Arms FRONT — Control, Stability, Comfort
OEMatch front track control arms for Porsche models are replacement suspension items designed to preserve steering geometry and alignment. They are intended for routine service, restoration and suspension setup work where accurate front-end control is required across road and track use.
Available Types
- Standard replacement arms with bonded bushes for factory-style fit and feel
- Adjustable control arms to assist precise suspension alignment during setup
- Performance arms with polyurethane bushes and reinforced joints for heavier use
Understanding OEMatch Track Control Arms
OEM (Original Equipment Manufacturer) parts are made by the same company that produced your Porsche’s original track control arms.
OE (Original Equipment) refers to parts matching original specifications for the track control arms and may be supplied by alternative manufacturers. Aftermarket parts offer alternative options, sometimes with enhanced features or better value. OEMatch supplies non-OEM track control arms engineered as direct-fit alternatives to OEM parts, made to original-spec dimensions and tolerances for Porsche models. Track control arms connect the chassis to the steering knuckle, control wheel position under load and influence camber, castor and toe during dynamic conditions. OEMatch maintains a wide catalogue of Porsche suspension parts and related hardware to support maintenance and repairs.
Benefits Include
- Restore accurate front suspension geometry and steering response
- Reduce uneven tyre wear and road-induced vibration
- Improve braking stability and cornering control
Why Track Control Arms Wear and Fail
- Perished or worn bushes that allow unwanted movement
- Ball joint wear leading to play or knocking noises
- Corrosion, impact damage or metal fatigue from stress
The Importance of Replacing with OEMatch Track Control Arms
Replacing worn or damaged front track control arms restores alignment accuracy, steering precision and vehicle stability. Timely renewal prevents progressive tyre wear, reduces handling unpredictability and ensures braking loads are transferred as intended for safer, more consistent road behaviour.
Advantages
- Direct-fit replacements engineered to match original dimensions and tolerances
- Options with rubber or polyurethane bushes to suit different ride preferences
- Reinforced joints and corrosion-resistant finishes to support service longevity
