What Does the Front Windscreen Frame Seal Do?
The seal creates a flexible barrier between the windscreen frame and the roof assembly. It helps prevent rainwater and wind entering the passenger compartment while maintaining correct contact between the roof and bodywork.
Why Does It Fail?
Over time, the rubber can harden, shrink, crack or become permanently compressed. Exposure to sunlight, changing temperatures and repeated roof operation can accelerate deterioration.
