What This Product Does
The condenser transfers heat from pressurised refrigerant into the passing air, allowing the refrigerant to condense into liquid. It belongs to the air conditioning circuit rather than the engine coolant circuit.
Functions
- Releases heat carried by the refrigerant.
- Enables refrigerant condensation within the A/C cycle.
- Supports cabin cooling as part of the complete system.
Technical Details
- Condenser reference in the supplied diagrams: 99157311106.
- Installation position: front, left or right.
- The referenced assemblies show two condensers per vehicle; this listing is for one.
Symptoms of Fault
- Vent air remains warm or cooling gradually diminishes.
- Oily deposits appear around the condenser or its connections.
- Visible fin deterioration, impact damage or corrosion.
- Debris obstructs airflow through the condenser.
These signs warrant inspection but do not, by themselves, establish that the condenser needs replacing.
Why Replacement Matters
A leaking or damaged condenser can prevent the refrigerant circuit from operating correctly. Replacement addresses the defective component rather than relying on repeated refrigerant top-ups. Inspect adjoining pipe connections, seals and air guides during the repair. OE Match focuses on Porsche replacement applications, using original references and fitment checks when specifying components.
FAQs
Will another regas resolve weak cooling?
Not if refrigerant is escaping. Locate and repair any leak before recharging.
Should the receiver-drier also be checked?
Yes. Have the technician assess its replacement requirements when opening the refrigerant circuit; it is a separate component from this condenser.
Can cleaning avoid replacement?
Removing external debris may improve airflow, but cleaning cannot repair perforations or leaking joints.
Who should install it?
Use an appropriately qualified air conditioning technician for refrigerant recovery, installation, leak testing and recharging.

Also known as the A/C desiccator or condenser dryer, this component filters refrigerant and removes moisture, ensuring the system operates efficiently and reliably.
Location: In the A/C system, mounted in line between the condenser and the expansion valve
What this product does:
• Removes moisture and contaminants from the refrigerant
• Acts as a reservoir for refrigerant in the A/C system
• Protects the compressor and other A/C components from damage caused by water or debris
• Helps maintain cold, efficient air conditioning
Over time, the receiver/drier becomes saturated with moisture or clogged with debris, reducing cooling efficiency and potentially damaging the A/C compressor. Replacing it with an OE Match unit during A/C service or after opening the system ensures long-lasting cooling performance, reliability, and protection for expensive components.
