Brake pad wear sensor, REAR
OE Match rear brake pad wear sensor for Porsche 981 Boxster, 981 Cayman, 718 Boxster, and 718 Cayman models. This replacement rear brake wear indicator helps monitor brake pad condition and alert the driver when the rear brake pads are reaching their service limit. These should normally be replaced when replacing your brake pads.
Sold individually, There are 2 per axle.
The brake pad wear sensor fits into the rear brake pad assembly and monitors pad wear. When the pad material wears down to the sensor contact point, the system can trigger a dashboard warning, indicating that rear brake pad replacement is required.
