This OE Match microswitch is ideal when the original microswitch has worn, failed, or exhibits intermittent electrical contact, helping restore consistent fuel metering and smooth engine response.
The intake manifold microswitch detects the position or movement of a mechanical linkage (such as throttle or airflow sensor plate) and sends a contact signal to the engine’s mechanical fuel injection system. This information helps the MFI system manage fuel delivery and idle characteristics accurately.
Microswitches in mechanical fuel injection systems wear over time, leading to poor electrical contact, intermittent signals, or failed switch actuation.
