This is a hydro-elastic (fluid-filled) engine mount. It replaces earlier part numbers including 99337504905 and 99337504907, and is suitable for installation on either the left or right side.

Why Replace It, Engine mounts are crucial for:
• Locating and supporting the engine
• Absorbing vibration and engine torque under acceleration, braking, and cornering
• When this mount deteriorates or fails, you can expect, Increased vibration transmitted to the cabin, steering, or pedals
• Clunks, bangs, or loud noises during acceleration, deceleration, or gear changes from engine movement against the chassis
• Visual signs such as leaking black fluid from the mount, sagging of tailpipes (due to dropped mounting), or visible damage to rubber or metal components
Common Failure Causes:
• Age-related rubber degradation: over time, rubber hardens, cracks or de-bonds, causing loss of damping and allowing engine movement
• Fluid leakage (hydraulic version): loss of damping fluid due to seal failure accelerates failure
• Fluid contamination: oil, coolant, or other contaminants degrade the rubber material
• Vehicle abuse or stress: aggressive driving, hard launches, or previous accidents can warp or break mounts
• Worn or cracked brackets: even if the rubber is intact, the aluminium bracket can be damaged or corroded, reducing effectiveness
