This fillister-head screw (M8 × 40 mm) is used to secure the door lock striker plate on various models. Built to match Porsche’s original specs.

• Position: Door lock striker or latch plate mounting – the screw that secures the striker plate to the body/chassis.
• Specification: M8 thread, 40 mm length, fillister-head style, correct hex size and finish for factory geometry.
• Applications: Ideal when the original mount screw is missing, stripped, rusted, or door latch alignment is loose or noisy.
A worn, corroded or incorrect screw in the door lock striker assembly can lead to mis-alignment of the door latch, excessive play, rattling doors, poor seal, or difficulty in door opening/closing.
