Symptoms of Fault
Possible signs include front suspension knocks, imprecise steering, uneven tyre wear, steering vibration or pulling when braking. Check for bush deterioration, joint play and arm damage; other suspension or steering components can produce similar symptoms.
Why Replacement Matters
Renewing a worn or damaged arm addresses unwanted movement that can affect wheel location and alignment. OE Match develops replacement components around Porsche applications, using original references and fitment information when assessing suitability. Inspect adjoining suspension parts during the repair and arrange a wheel alignment afterwards.
FAQs
Should both front arms be renewed?
Inspect both sides and replace according to their condition and the applicable repair procedure. The diagram quantity does not establish the package contents.
What else should be checked?
Examine track rods, drop links, mounts and associated fixings for wear or damage before attributing a noise to the control arm.

• Position: Front axle — lower control arm / track bar (left or right side).
• Role in Suspension: Controls wheel alignment (camber, toe), locates the front wheel assembly under dynamic loads, absorbs road forces, and helps maintain stable handling during braking, acceleration and cornering.
• The front control arm maintains precise positioning of the wheel relative to the chassis, ensuring correct suspension geometry under load. Its bushings isolate road vibrations while allowing controlled suspension movement, preserving both ride comfort and steering accuracy. As a direct-fit replacement, it restores proper front suspension behaviour without the need for modifications.
With age and mileage, the bushings and ball-joint in the control arm gradually wear due to road stress, heat, and repeated load cycles. This can lead to vague steering, poor straight-line stability, uneven tyre wear, knocking noises, or difficulty holding correct alignment. Replacing the arm ensures tight, predictable suspension response and safer, more controlled driving dynamics - especially important for high-performance vehicles or those driven hard.
When to replace:
• Noticeable knocking or clunking from front suspension over bumps or braking
• Loose or vague steering feel, especially at speed
• Uneven or premature tyre wear on front tyres
• Difficulty achieving or maintaining correct wheel alignment (camber/toe)
• Excessive play discovered in control arm joint on inspection
• Completing other suspension work (bushings, shocks, struts) - good practice to renew suspension links together

What This Product Does
The control arm links the front wheel assembly with the chassis, guiding suspension travel while supporting wheel geometry. Wear at its mounting points can allow movement that affects alignment.
Functions
- Locates the front wheel assembly relative to the chassis.
- Provides pivoting movement as the suspension travels.
- Supports the intended front suspension geometry.
Technical Details
- Brand: OE Match.
- Installation position: FRONT.
- 2 per vehicle, Sold individually
Symptoms of Fault
Possible signs include knocks on uneven roads, imprecise steering, steering vibration, wandering, uneven tyre wear or pulling during braking. These symptoms can also originate from other suspension components, so inspection should establish the cause before replacement.
Why Replacement Matters
Renewing a worn or damaged arm addresses unwanted movement at the affected suspension connection. OE Match focuses on Porsche replacement applications, using original references and specification checks to guide component selection. Inspect neighbouring joints, mounts and fixings during the repair, then arrange a wheel alignment check.
FAQs
Is wheel alignment needed after fitting?
Yes. Have the front suspension geometry checked after control arm replacement.
Should both front arms be renewed?
Inspect both sides. Replacement of both may be appropriate when comparable wear is found.
What else should be inspected?
Check drop links, track rods, top mounts and other suspension joints, as faults in these areas can produce similar noises.
Does this fit every 991 chassis specification?
No. Confirm the stated option codes and retain the Turbo restriction for cars WITHOUT PASM and PDCC.

Replacing both sides as a pair ensures symmetrical suspension behaviour, consistent road feedback and balanced camber/toe control — essential for high-performance Porsche chassis dynamics.
These front lower control arms stabilise and locate the front wheels under braking, acceleration and cornering loads. They maintain consistent camber and toe geometry, absorb road vibrations and support precise steering response. As a matched pair, they ensure uniform suspension performance across the front axle.
With age, bushings soften and ball-joint interfaces wear, leading to unwanted movement, clunks, steering imprecision and alignment drift. Replacing both arms restores accurate suspension control, improves safety and brings back the crisp, predictable handling Porsche models are known for.
When to replace:
• Steering feels vague, unstable or wanders
• Knocking/clunking noises from the front suspension
• Uneven or accelerated front tyre wear
• Alignment cannot be held after adjustment
• Visible cracks or deterioration in control arm bushings
• Following installation of new shocks, springs or front suspension components

What’s Included:
• 2x 99134104306/3 – OE Match Front Control Arms
These front lower control arms (wishbones) are manufactured to OE match specification, ensuring the same geometry, fit and performance as the original Porsche part. They provide stability, absorb road forces and help maintain accurate wheel alignment.
• 2x 99134105306/3 – OE Match Front “Coffin Arms”
Named for their distinctive shape, these arms are critical for controlling camber, caster and steering behaviour. Worn coffin arm bushes are a common cause of knocks, vibration and vague steering response — replacing them restores crisp, precise front-end dynamics.
• Genuine Porsche Fitting Kit (bolts and nuts) A complete set of new Porsche fasteners for correct installation. Suspension bolts and lock nuts should not be reused, as they are torque-to-yield and essential for maintaining clamping force and safety.
This complete kit renews the entire lower front control arm assembly, allowing you to:
• Restore factory steering precision and handling stability
• Correct alignment issues caused by worn bushes or elongated joints
• Eliminate knocking, squeaking or vibration from the front suspension
• Ensure safe and reliable installation using fresh genuine Porsche hardware.
Front control arm bushes and ball joints wear over time due to road impacts, driving style and age. Symptoms include:
• Steering play or “loose” front end feel
• Uneven tyre wear
• Vibration or knocking over bumps
• Poor tracking or pulling to one side
• Instability under braking
Replacing all four arms together ensures even wear, consistent geometry, and the best long-term results, especially when pairing with a fresh alignment.
